Ever feel like you are going backwards?
This much I know – “The more I learn, the less I know.”
At least that is what it feels like.
And I have to be honest. Some days it makes me want to curl up in a ball and cry. (In fact, I may or may not have done that recently).
Has this ever happened to you?
For the most part, it’s because I’ve done one of two things:
#1. I’ve learned something new, haven’t had time to implement or practice and instead, try to learn even more new things (this is no good!)
OR
#2. I’ve gone on an “undisciplined” learning spree.
You know, when you go on a mission to collect as much info as possible on a given topic. Also – no good…at least for me. And this is why. I end up with WAAAAY too much info. Lots of it is great. But much of it repeats and some of it is…err…junk. But I waste time sorting through it…and in the end, I have no road map to guide me, so I walk away feeling more confused and/or overwhelmed.
What camp are you in right now?
Do you have a bunch of info you need to implement and practice?
Or, is it time to (strategically!) inject some learning into your life?
Take a moment to reflect, then adjust your game place as necessary!
