Storytelling Children’s Portraiture with Danielle Trina

She has always been creative by nature.

Her journey toward becoming her authentic self began 10 years ago when she fought a battle with cancer that invaded her pancreas. She won that battle and became a survivor.

She feels she survived more than cancer, she became a survivor of life & began to understand the true value of living in the moment; each and every precious moment because our time here is not guaranteed.

Danielle Trina then began her career as a photographer and was fascinated by the raw emotion she was able to get clients to express during her portrait sessions.

As someone who has always been fascinated with spoken craft and poetry, she discovered she is a storyteller.  She learned the rules, creatively broke some of them and created a style of her own, and created a  following of people who love the way she uses her lens and creativity to share the way she see beauty in the world, in odd angles, crooked lines, blurred vision, in THE IMPERFECTIONS!

Her goal is to inspire others to be “leaders, adventurous, brave, relentless, unstoppable, inspired, lighter, passionate, faster, bold, greater…” to choose to be MORE.

I fell in love with Danielle’s work on Instagram, and just knew I had to bring her on the show. We can often get in our own heads and stop ourselves from playing and creating, and slowing down.

I loved Danielle’s perspective on slowing down, and being intentional and present and creating something for yourself in each and every session.  If you are someone who has ever struggled to get out of the self-imposed creative box you may have found yourself in.. well this episode is for you.
