Bio: Shannon graduated from Texas A&M in 1997 with a degree in English and a certificate to teach. After teaching for 6 years, she had her first daughter and decided to spend time at home with her. With the upcoming birth of her second daughter in 2008, she wanted a camera that could take quick and beautiful pictures, that’s when she got her first DSLR camera.

In 2009, she started taking photography classes and workshops. With a love for babies and expert training in how to safely and beautifully pose newborns and families, she launched a business with the intent to create incredible keepsakes for the families of the Brazos Valley.

She now teaches classes and workshops for other aspiring newborn photographers, creatives who want to grow their businesses, and hobbyists who want to learn how to use their camera. She is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), pursuing her certification as a professional photographer, and an award-winning photographer.
