So much more (safe) than meets the eye

newborn safety

When you see an image like this…please ASSUME it is a composite. There simply is NO OTHER way to get this type of image while keeping baby safe.  Seriously.  There just isn’t!

To get this shot, I combined 3 different images – when the baby was on the saddle, the dad’s hands NEVER left the baby….not even for a second.  By taking the image of the set up with out the baby (and having dad hold different parts of baby) I was able to combine the three to get the final (magical – yet safe!) image.

great work sharing and teaching about baby safety, its so easy for new photographers to see images like this and try to recreate with no idea how they are safely done in the first place
