OMG…my office is infested with these!

So…I’ll come clean.

And I have sooooo many of them EVERYWHERE in my office (seriously, it’s infested).

DOZENS of them in random notebooks.

At least 20 folders on my computer.

And countless ones on random scraps of paper.

What am I talking about?

It’s what I like to refer to as “the big rat’s nest of unused info”

It’s what happens when you are checking out some information online and learn a little of this and a little of that.

Some of it makes sense. Some of it is totally confusing.

But, you keep collecting little pieces.

A youtube video here. A pinterest tutorial there.

A link to a blog tutorial.

And before you know it, the only thing you’ve managed to do is amass a great deal of information without any clear path on what to do with it (or how it all fits together).

And so…it just sits there….a bunch of “free” info that is never used.

Sound familiar?

Of course, the question is – was that info really free?

Because your time is worth something.

Take a few moments to reflect on your own ‘rat’s nest of info’ tendencies.

Do you frequently spend hours (days) down the rabbit hole of random info learning?

Is it helping your photography? Or your business? Or, is it just stealing time away from your life?

Be honest (yet gentle) with yourself. And then, make adjustments if necessary! 🙂

+++++Side note: Don’t get me wrong, I am ALL for learning.

But I also believe in efficient learning…which is why I am happy to pay for courses where all the info has been sorted for me and laid out in a way that makes learning easy! 🙂
