Holiday Round Up – 2017

NEW! Holiday Mini-Session Masterclass!!  Check it out here!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  Well, I LOVE holiday sessions – and this year, I had 85 little ones in front of the camera in a 9 day span.  Which fuels me creatively (but also makes December a GREAT month to relax and spend time with family!)

Make sure you have a spotter on hand nice and close and just out of the frame (or do a composite if they are wiggle worms!) when you have little ones up on a bed!

Remember – with the props, you can set them up differently.  In this shot, the bed is facing straight on to the camera vs in the image below.

This was so fun to watch… thanks so much for taking the time to go over some of the things you use and where you source them. Very informative! You have wonderful, creative settings for your minis – no wonder you sold out just on repeat clients!

These are amazing. I think my clients would love this, but I’m worried that my studio isn’t big enough for this kind of set up. Mine is just a spare bedroom in my house. It’s only like 11×13 or maybe 11×16, I’m not sure. Do you think I could pull it off? I’d definitely have to take out all my newborn equipment.

I started out in a much smaller studio – and honestly, my shooting area isn’t that much bigger than what you have. So I would recommend having just a couple set ups to start and see what works best in your space! Good luck!
